Introducing Faith Intellectually: Duty to God in a Modern Time

Lead by the Scouting Ministries Committee of the United Methodist Church, this Zoom class was taught during the 2020 Virtual Interfaith Week hosted by the National Religious Relationships Committee.

Description: This course will look at the question of Duty to God in a modern time. Barna Research Group has found a profound change in how society looks at faith and spirituality. The rate of change is accelerating. Are we meeting Scouts where they are? Is it terrible to question? Are we helping them to see the opportunity to have faith? We can look at a basic conversation that allows for growth without preaching. It opens doors for youth to find a place in our modern time.
